Radicchio Films

Radicchio Films is a production company I helped found in 2018. At our core, we were a team of 4, highly dedicated and incredibly scrappy individuals, that leaned on a team of up to 12 crew members, to produce a variety of short films, music videos, and other content, based in Northern California.

Dai Dai (2017) Narrative Short

Generations or Dai Dai (2017) was Radicchio Film’s first production. It is a dramatic short film that consists of two narratives, each depicting a daughter leaving home. One story takes place in America, and the other takes place in 1970’s China, but both explore how love between a mother and daughter can be miscommunicated. By seamlessly weaving these two stories together, this film explores themes of womanhood, filial piety, and intergenerational struggles.
